Breast Augmentation in Identical Twins

In this case, we performed simultaneous breast augmentation for a pair of identical twins.

Although there was a slight difference in breast size at the starting point, the same size and shape of implants were chosen, as the chest anatomy and tissue characteristics allowed for a harmonious result.

Anatomical implants were used to create a natural contour and to make the most of the available space on the chest.

Breast Reconstruction After Significant Tissue Loss

In cases of significant breast tissue loss, the glandular tissue is almost entirely absent, while the nipple and areola remain in their normal position. 

In such situations, the implants must independently provide breast shape and volume, compensating for the missing soft tissue and restoring a natural appearance.

Due to minimal soft tissue thickness — limited coverage between the skin and pectoral muscle — and the risk of late contour deformities, the implants were placed under the muscle, and larger, higher-projection implants were selected to achieve the desired result.
