Dr. János Gyetván M.D.

I graduated in 1991 from Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine. I started to work at Ferenc Flór County Hospital of Pest County, where I spent 9 years. In this busy hospital I earned a serious experience in surgery and passed my higher examination in 1996. After achieving this specialty I turned to plastic surgery and continued my career at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Szent István Hospital in Budapest. In 2001 I passed my second higher examination in plastic surgery. Meanwhile I attended in several national and international congresses and training programs.
In 2000 I started my private practice. Nowadays I do my working hours as a plastic surgeon in Budapest and in Gödöllő. I perform these interventions at Silhouette Plastic Surgery and Laser Center and at Szent István Hospital.
Plastic surgery is a dynamically evolving discipline. In terms of using modern techniques I work with various types of lasers, IPL device and endoscopic equipment. A few months ago our clinic introduced the most modern so called fractionated laser, which can be used in Gödöllő as well for facial rejuvenation procedures. The surgical employment of these precise lasers provides us the possibility to remove the alterations of the skin or even under the skin without any scar. Endoscopic procedures can increase the safety of plastic surgeries and give us the chance to work with more hidden scars to enhance the appearance.
I regularly attend national and international congresses, where I report on my latest results and gather information about the newest plastic surgical procedures and devices.
